About Me and My Journey

My name is Ismail Sawad — 25 years old, born in Mangalore and brought up in Mysore. I completed my early education in Mysore up to 9th grade and later returned to Mangalore, where I went on to earn a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

By nature, I’m an easygoing person who gets along well with everyone, but I keep my circle small and close. I’m someone who values depth over numbers when it comes to relationships — loyal to a few, yet respectful to all.

Though I’m an extrovert, my heart is deeply focused on Deen. I’m currently pursuing Qur’an Hifz online and trying to live each day closer to the Islamic lifestyle I envision for myself. My top priority in life is Islam. I firmly believe in following Shariah as it is, and I don’t compromise on the values and teachings of Allah and His Messenger ﷺ.

I come from a loving and respectful family. My happiest moments are spent with them — especially with my nephews and nieces, and during short trips with close friends. I never miss Salah, no matter the situation. I try to be a son who is obedient to his parents and a businessman who is honest to the core — no debts, no loans, no false promises, and absolutely no cheating.

Professionally, I run a sportswear brand, but it’s not the typical one. We’re an online-first business, built from scratch, and now growing rapidly with great potential. This journey started from my desire to create something of my own — I’ve always had a creative mind and wanted to build something meaningful and different.

What motivates me? The words of the Prophet ﷺ:

“The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer.”

This inspires me to become someone strong — not just for myself, but to be useful for others and beneficial for the Deen.

People who know me recognize me for my commitment to my Islamic values and for the success I’ve achieved in business through sheer hard work and honesty. Much of this discipline and drive comes from watching my father lead by example — his dedication and sacrifice have shaped my own vision.

Ultimately, my goal is simple: to live a modest and purposeful life, striving for success in this world without forgetting my real home — the Akhira.
