My Business Journey

My journey into business started in 2020, driven purely by passion. I was deeply into fitness and noticed that people abroad had access to high-quality activewear, while in India, it was hard to find stylish and functional fitness clothing. I saw a clear market gap and I decided to work on it.
During the COVID lockdown, while most people were slowing down, I was researching fabrics, studying manufacturing processes, and learning the basics of the clothing industry without any background or formal training. That’s when I launched my first brand: Rigid.fit. The products were listed on platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, and Meesho. It was exciting and rewarding, and helped me make enough to enjoy my engineering college life.

Today, we’ve had the privilege of working with leading IT companies, reputed institutions, government bodies like the Forest Department, and even ISRO. Many of them are now our regular customers.
What drives me is the challenge, the responsibility, and the respect that comes from running a business. Nothing compares to the love and appreciation I get from happy customers. That keeps me going.
My vision is to build Rigid into India’s most loved brand for custom garment manufacturing. Once I reach stable monthly sales and the operations are fully systemized, I plan to branch out into other businesses. With our existing resources and infrastructure, we are ready to run multiple ventures—all under one roof. And one day, I hope to expand Rigid internationally and represent India in the global custom apparel market.
Later, during college fests and sports events, I noticed another opportunity—custom wear. Students and teams were always looking for customized jerseys and uniforms. That sparked the next chapter of my journey: starting a custom teamwear manufacturing business.
In the beginning, I had no experience. I faced a lot of challenges—lack of knowledge, peer pressure, and the fear of missing out as everyone else was going for jobs. But I kept learning, kept moving.
A major turning point was when I started Facebook marketing. That opened the door to online orders from across India and even overseas. That’s when I realized: this business could scale.
My family, especially my elder brother, played a huge role in supporting me. He encouraged me not to fall into the job routine but to pursue business seriously. That’s when I set up my first office and began building a team, delegating tasks, and taking things to the next level.
